Step 2)
Next, we add up all the products we got from Step 1, like this:

Step 3)
Now we divide the sum from Step 2 by 8. Put the remainder aside. Then divide the whole part by 8 again, and put the remainder aside again. Keep doing this until the whole part is 0.

62626 ÷ 8 = 7828 with 2 remainder
7828 ÷ 8 = 978 with 4 remainder
978 ÷ 8 = 122 with 2 remainder
122 ÷ 8 = 15 with 2 remainder
15 ÷ 8 = 1 with 7 remainder
1 ÷ 8 = 0 with 1 remainder

Step 4)
In the final step, we take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get our answer to F4A2 hexadecimal to octal:

F4A2 hexadecimal = 172242 octal
