Now we divide the sum from Step 2 by 8. Put the remainder aside. Then divide the whole part by 8 again, and put the remainder aside again. Keep doing this until the whole part is 0.

57877 ÷ 8 = 7234 with 5 remainder
7234 ÷ 8 = 904 with 2 remainder
904 ÷ 8 = 113 with 0 remainder
113 ÷ 8 = 14 with 1 remainder
14 ÷ 8 = 1 with 6 remainder
1 ÷ 8 = 0 with 1 remainder

Step 4)
In the final step, we take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get our answer to E215 hexadecimal to octal:
