57871 ÷ 8 = 7233 with 7 remainder
7233 ÷ 8 = 904 with 1 remainder
904 ÷ 8 = 113 with 0 remainder
113 ÷ 8 = 14 with 1 remainder
14 ÷ 8 = 1 with 6 remainder
1 ÷ 8 = 0 with 1 remainder
Step 4)
In the final step, we take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get our answer to E20F hexadecimal to octal:
