7017 ÷ 8 = 877 with 1 remainder
877 ÷ 8 = 109 with 5 remainder
109 ÷ 8 = 13 with 5 remainder
13 ÷ 8 = 1 with 5 remainder
1 ÷ 8 = 0 with 1 remainder
Step 4)
In the final step, we take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get our answer to DB48 hexadecimal to octal:
DB48 hexadecimal = 155510 octal
