Now we divide the sum from Step 2 by 8. Put the remainder aside. Then divide the whole part by 8 again, and put the remainder aside again. Keep doing this until the whole part is 0.

52752 ÷ 8 = 6594 with 0 remainder
6594 ÷ 8 = 824 with 2 remainder
824 ÷ 8 = 103 with 0 remainder
103 ÷ 8 = 12 with 7 remainder
12 ÷ 8 = 1 with 4 remainder
1 ÷ 8 = 0 with 1 remainder

Step 4)
In the final step, we take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get our answer to CE10 hexadecimal to octal:

CE10 hexadecimal = 147020 octal
