2954 ÷ 8 = 369 with 2 remainder
369 ÷ 8 = 46 with 1 remainder
46 ÷ 8 = 5 with 6 remainder
5 ÷ 8 = 0 with 5 remainder

Step 4)
In the final step, we take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get our answer to B8A hexadecimal to octal:
