1725 ÷ 8 = 215 with 5 remainder
215 ÷ 8 = 26 with 7 remainder
26 ÷ 8 = 3 with 2 remainder
3 ÷ 8 = 0 with 3 remainder

Step 4)
In the final step, we take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get our answer to 35ED hexadecimal to octal:
