1502 ÷ 8 = 187 with 6 remainder
187 ÷ 8 = 23 with 3 remainder
23 ÷ 8 = 2 with 7 remainder
2 ÷ 8 = 0 with 2 remainder

Step 4)
In the final step, we take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get our answer to 2EF5 hexadecimal to octal:
