10106 ÷ 8 = 1263 with 2 remainder
1263 ÷ 8 = 157 with 7 remainder
157 ÷ 8 = 19 with 5 remainder
19 ÷ 8 = 2 with 3 remainder
2 ÷ 8 = 0 with 2 remainder

Step 4)
In the final step, we take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get our answer to 277A hexadecimal to octal:
