4661 ÷ 8 = 582 with 5 remainder
582 ÷ 8 = 72 with 6 remainder
72 ÷ 8 = 9 with 0 remainder
9 ÷ 8 = 1 with 1 remainder
1 ÷ 8 = 0 with 1 remainder

Step 4)
In the final step, we take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get our answer to 1235 hexadecimal to octal:
