CFA5 hexadecimal to binary

Step 2)
Next, we add up all the products we got from Step 1, like this:

5 + 160 + 3840 + 49152 = 53157

Step 3)
Now we divide the sum from Step 2 by 2. Put the remainder aside. Then divide the whole part by 2 again, and put the remainder aside again. Keep doing this until the whole part is 0.

53157 ÷ 2 = 26578 with 1 remainder
26578 ÷ 2 = 13289 with 0 remainder
13289 ÷ 2 = 6644 with 1 remainder
6644 ÷ 2 = 3322 with 0 remainder
3322 ÷ 2 = 1661 with 0 remainder
1661 ÷ 2 = 830 with 1 remainder
830 ÷ 2 = 415 with 0 remainder
415 ÷ 2 = 207 with 1 remainder
207 ÷ 2 = 103 with 1 remainder
103 ÷ 2 = 51 with 1 remainder
51 ÷ 2 = 25 with 1 remainder
25 ÷ 2 = 12 with 1 remainder
12 ÷ 2 = 6 with 0 remainder
6 ÷ 2 = 3 with 0 remainder
3 ÷ 2 = 1 with 1 remainder
1 ÷ 2 = 0 with 1 remainder

Step 4)
In the final step, we take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get our answer to CFA5 hexadecimal to binary:

CFA5 hexadecimal = 1100111110100101 binary
