Step 3)
Divide the sum from Step 2 by 16. Put the remainder aside. Then divide the whole part by 16 again, and put the remainder aside again. Keep doing this until the whole part is 0. Also, replace remainders if need be: 10=A, 11=B, 12=C, 13=D, 14=E, and 15=F.

43 ÷ 16 = 2 with B remainder
2 ÷ 16 = 0 with 2 remainder

Step 4)
Take the remainders from Step 3 and put them together in reverse order to get the answer to 101011 binary to hexadecimal:

101011 binary = 2B hexadecimal
